BOUTIQUE FITNESS STUDIO OPENING IN GLEN LOCHEN…2 HOPEWELL RENOVATING

HERE’S THE SCOOP…

NEW FITNESS STUDIO USES SCIENCE TO OFFER PURPOSEFUL WORKOUTS

There is a unique fitness studio opening in Glen Lochen. It’s called Chandelier Boutique Fitness for Women and it’s awesome. Owner, Gursu Samancioglu, an exercise physiologist and personal trainer, has developed a science-based program that tailors workouts to each individual client’s needs. He is incredibly bright and passionate about helping people maintain their workout goals. This particular program helps develop internal motivation, something that keeps clients on the right path. The name Chandelier was inspired by the relationship Gursu has with his mother. Just as she has always been the guiding light for him, he hopes to guide and transform the lives of the women he coaches and trains. This new space is stunning with mid-century modern décor including gorgeous ‘chandeliers’, faux greenery, and exposed wooden beams. It’s so beautiful…we kind of want to move right in and live there. Chandelier is located next to RaonJena Coffee & Dessert. They hope to open by the end of January. To hear more or become a founding member, email: gursu@chandelierglastonbury.com

2 HOPEWELL GETTING A FRESH NEW LOOK

2 Hopewell is renovating! Twelve years after opening, they’re redoing both the interior and exterior of the building. You’ll notice new siding, windows, and signage on the outside. The house dates back to the 1700’s and maintains it’s old-style charm, but will also get a touch of new on the inside with some modern window treatments and paint. We love when old looks new again. Stop in and visit to see the changes.

NEW FACIAL ENHANCEMENT BUSINESS OPENS

There is a new medical aesthetics practice in town. Liquid Aesthetics is owned by Kristin Kolat and Wojciech Junger. The two are nurse practitioners in primary care and gastroenterology, but have opened up this new business on the side. Because, what’s more exciting than having something to call your own?! They have specialized training in cosmetic procedures and injection techniques by the American Academy of Procedural Medicine. They customize treatments to give client’s natural looking enhancement and offer many different services, including microneedling…a procedure known as the ‘vampire facial’ and made famous by Kim Kardashian. Although seemingly intimidating, the results are nothing short of amazing giving clients a vibrant glow. Check out their before and after pics on Instagram and Facebook.

THISTLE & REED OPENING NEW LOCATION

Thistle & Reed is opening a brick and mortar store in Farmington. The mobile boutique recently announced that they will hold their Grand Opening January 19th from 6:00 to 9:00 PM in the same space as Crafted Hair at 1051 Farmington Avenue. We introduced you to their mobile boutique when they came to town several months ago. They travel to different locations and offer a unique shopping experience at parties, bridal events, wineries, and girls nights. Check out their clothing and accessories HERE or get a sneak peek of their quaint, new space below.
