CT TRIAL FIRM HAS A DEEP COMMITMENT TO CLIENTS

sponsored

When Ryan McKeen set out to open his own law firm, he looked to create a modern, high-tech firm that served the needs of his clients. He accomplished just that when he formed CT Trial Firm with his partner Andrew Garza. Their rapid growth isn't surprising considering they have an impressive 75 five-star reviews. It's an extraordinary accomplishment for these two hard-working attorneys. Ryan is the first in his family to graduate from a 4-year college. Andrew grew up in public housing in Groton and worked his way through school waiting tables and tending bar. At CT Trial Firm, they practice personal injury and have recovered hundreds of thousands and millions of dollars for clients. They care deeply about who they represent and the emotional burden that comes with injury or death. Click HERE for more info.

HANDS ON TRAINING AT REVOLUTION BASKETBALL TRAINING

There is a new basketball training facility open in Manchester that helps kids enhance their skills. Revolution Basketball Training is the first training center of its kind in New England and offers specialized instruction for athletes ages 4 and up. Owners, Meghan Curtin and Mike Welsh (both Glastonbury residents) have brought together a team of professionals that have been trained by one of the best in the world. All of their trainers are certified through the I'm Possible Training program of Micah Lancaster (a basketball skills specialist who has worked with NBA players). They provide group and personal training, along with membership packages. The feedback has been tremendous...kids are learning not just basketball skills, but LIFE skills. Read more about their offerings HERE. AND...WAIT FOR IT...

COTTON HOLLOW KITCHEN WILL OPEN FULLY THIS WEEK

Cotton Hollow Kitchen held a soft opening of their bar - BAR HOLLOW - this past Friday. Guests got a sneak peak of what's to come including a look at their menu, which includes a good mix of comfort foods (think chowders, soups, burgers, pot pies, and entrees). They've gone to great lengths to make the inside a reflection of all the things you love about Glastonbury including beautifully framed photographs (done by our friends at JW Frame Crafters) and some daily specials that pay tribute to the old restaurant, The Brookside. Their custom-made furniture is expected to arrive this week and they will open the restaurant side as soon as that's in place. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for the latest.

SEED BAGEL SHOP OPENS THIS WEEK ON COMMERCE

We stopped by Seed Bagel Shop on Commerce (preopening) and got super excited for this new spot! Owners, Todd and Ari DiBattista, have transformed the inside of the old Commerce Eatery into an ADORABLE. LITTLE. SPACE. We loved every single inch of it! It was just so fun and cozy and amazing...we could go on and on. The menu includes standard (bacon, egg, and cheese) and 'funky' (shaved sirloin, onion jam, melted guyere, chimichurri, au jus) bagel sandwiches, salads, soups, and quinoa bowls. Their decor features a refurbished church pew from West Hartford and a mini shuffle board as their window-front breakfast bar. Coffee is from Ashlawn Farm (we hear it's delish) and the food is from local farms. They OPEN SOMETIME THIS WEEK. Follow them on Facebook for an exact day and stop in and experience this little gem for yourself!
