NEW COLLABORATION LETS YOU DESIGN HISTORIC BUILDING
Design Your Monday and Regions Real Estate have teamed up to bring you The Social Blueprint. This unique collaboration allows YOU to help design a historic building in Marlborough.
SO, WHAT IS THE SOCIAL BLUEPRINT?
The Social Blueprint is a way for this duo to engage people in renovation projects in their community. Built in the 1950’s, the former Mark’s on Main in Marlborough (to your right) needs a complete overhaul. And, YOU, yes YOU get to design it! Each week, participants vote on design elements of the renovation for the exterior of the building and two apartments on the second floor. One apartment will be modern style, the other industrial. The downstairs commercial space is FOR RENT (and is awesome!). When it makes sense, the pair plan to use products from local businesses and promote them on social media. Take a look at some of the winning design elements below, along with an inspirational rendering of what the team envisions the building could look like.
DESIGN YOUR MONDAY: Jennifer Gaggion started this commercial design firm after working in the corporate world as the head of human resources for 15 years. This experience is what sets her apart. She knows how to design space that helps promote happier and more productive employees. And, what’s better than happy employees? They can be your biggest brand ambassador. Jennifer has worked with corporate and medical offices and manufacturing businesses to create space reflective of their brand. If needed, she will partner with independent architects and engineers to compliment her designs. See her work below.

REGIONS REAL ESTATE: Michael Guidicelli began in real estate 15 years ago after serving in the National Guard. He soon branched out on his own and worked 7 days a week sun up to after sundown to create and build Regions Commercial Real Estate. Two years ago, he created Regions Residential as a subset of the work he does commercially. He is quite impressive. At just 36 years old, he was named to the Hartford Business Journal’s 40 Under 40, is the youngest member in the state of the prestigious real estate organization, Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (your business must produce a minimum amount to even be considered), and is an expert in the latest technology that helps his clients sell or buy properties. In addition to the renovations in Marlborough, the two are renovating a 14-thousand square foot building into a state-of-the-art medical office next to MidState Medical Center in Meriden.
