If you missed our GET TO KNOW LOCAL segment on social media about Gbury 2 Go, then listen up! This take-out style eatery is getting great reviews on social media. When we posted their story, the comments flooded in from people who gave them a try and LOVE them! It's owned by Glastonbury residents, Matt and Shannon Tetreault. They decided to open Gbury 2 Go after seeing a lack of Vegan food options in the market. Their chef, Giordan, is Vegan, classically trained and has created a menu that offers something for everyone. Some of their Vegan options include: Vegetable Tofu Stir Fry, Beyond Meat Burger, Vegetable Curry, and more. Their Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Fried Cauliflower are faves too. So much to choose from! Grab the fam and head down to their Bucks Corner location to see what all the buzz is about.

NEW SHOP COMING TO OLD SOW'S EAR SPACE
There is a new home boutique going into the old Sow's Ear space at 2400 Main Street (underneath the CT River Valley Chamber in the yellow house on the corner). 2400 Main (appropriately named) will feature a selection of curated home decor items, antiques, and vintage furniture. The owner, Stacy Britnell is currently transforming the space and plans to open November 1st! They will be in our 2020 HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE, so stay tuned for a peak at some of their amazing offerings!

CLEAN UP CONNECTICUT IS TIDYING THE STATE ONE EVENT AT A TIME
Clean Up Connecticut started when its founders, Brianna Smith and Nico Arias were hiking one of their favorite trails and came upon a bunch of litter scattered about. They had a bag with them and picked up what they could before venturing on, but the scene stuck with them. After sharing their mini-cleanup on social media, they received such an outpouring of support, they started a non-profit. Now, they schedule events throughout the state to cleanup parks, trails, preservation areas or anywhere that needs a little love! To join them on their next cleanup, click HERE.
