GENO'S NEW RESTAURANT OPENS THIS WEEK
Geno Auriemma's new restaurant in the former Cavy's building in Manchester will debut this week! Cafe Aura opens Tuesday and will feature a varied selection of delicious dishes like sea bass, tuna, and steak, along with savory pastas. *Did you get a chance to see the steam locomotive at Cavanna's? We are, admittedly, obsessed! It arrived last week and opened this past weekend. It's $35 for the "experience" of becoming the conductor of the train. You get to shovel coal and operate the train. Next year (Christmas 2020), they will offer rides in passenger cars through their land to a log cabin where you will be greeted by Santa. Pretty darn cool. Below are some drone shots from Joe Gowac. *There is currently a proposal to build a Chase Bank to the right of the second rotary in the center of town. Right now, there are two buildings there in need of repair (we notice these things), but they will be torn down if the plan passes. The bank proposal is going through town hall. We will keep you posted!
