*CLARIFICATION: The new business going into the old Spicy Green Bean space on Hebron Avenue will be called Mulberry Too. It is the same owners as Mulberry Street in Manchester. They will offer prepared meals, baked goods, and gift items and will open in November.

There is something innately creative about Jasleni Brito. She has been honing her craft since childhood (her mom says she was painting before she could talk). Her work is extensive and includes an impressive list of projects with clients like Whole Foods and The Burnt Shop. POUNDS TRANSFORMATION TO GLASTONBURY
A non-surgical, weight-loss practice that helps patients struggling with obesity will open in town this January in the new building at the corner of Putnam Boulevard and Naubuc Avenue. Pounds Transformation grew from zero patients to 20,000 in just over six years (woah!). It was started by Michelle Cavo, who has since appeared in The Magic Pill on Netflix, a documentary about combating illness through food. They now have a team of medical doctors, physician assistants, registered dietitians, and a chef. Their new location will feature a 'food pharmacy', garden, and greenhouse. NEW IV HYDRATION BUSINESS OPENS TODAY
Alive IV Infusion Bar opens TODAY inside April & Co. on Main Street. Owner, Jacintha DeVillier has partnered with Mary Bycholski (Touch of Glamour) to bring this business to town. They will offer energy, hydration, and cosmetic drips. The injections provide replenishing fluids, vitamins and minerals and have become quite popular in recent years. AUTHENTIC RAMEN NOODLE RESTAURANT TO WEST HARTFORD
A Wethersfield favorite will open their second location in West Hartford. Kaliubon Ramen will open in Blue Back Square soon. Follow them on Instagram for some mouthwatering pictures of ramen. They are collecting new or gently used winter coats for kids and adults. You can drop them at 157 Rampart Drive from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM (there is a bin in front of their garage). They will bring them to local shelters.
