ORANGETHEORY'S FULL BODY WORKOUT GIVES RESULTS

If you haven't been to Orangetheory Glastonbury for a class, you are 100% missing out! This workout is so unique and fun, you have to try it. Let's talk about what it entails, shall we? It's a full body workout using a heart rate monitor to track results in real time. Orangetheory is proven (backed by science) to burn more calories post workout...ummm, yes please! They combine rowing, running, and weights with a certified coach to keep you motivated and safe. The Glastonbury location is a community that loves to have fun while getting it done. Trainers like Laura and Chelsea (two of our faves) are so good at what they do (thousands of classes under their belts combined), you're sure to see a difference. So...how do you get in on a piece of the action? This coming Sunday, March 8th, they are hosting the 23rd Hour...a FREE one hour workout. And, get this...IF YOU MENTION THE SCOOP when you sign on for a membership, you get a FREE heart rate monitor (new members only). BOOM. Now put it on your calendar and get started on your fitness journey.

THE SALAD BAR TARGETS OPENING

We announced several months ago that The Salad Bar (out of Rocky Hill) will be coming to Glastonbury. Their new location is in the Bertucci's plaza next to Subway. They offer custom salads, soups, shakes, and wraps. Renovations have started on the interior and they hope to open by the end of April.

GARDINERS MARKET SOLD TO NEW OWNERS

The long-time owners of Gardiner's Market in South Glastonbury have sold the business to The Fusco family (of Glastonbury). The announcement was made in an email to customers. Bob and Zach Fusco own Roberts Food Center in Madison. They will rename the store Brookside Market. The sale will be complete by the end of this month. The store will close for one week for the transition and there will be a total renovation by this October.

HOME SENSE TO OPEN CONNECTICUT LOCATIONS

WOOHOO! We are super psyched about this! Home Sense is opening two Connecticut locations in Enfield and Vernon. Enfield will open FIRST (Enfield Commons: 25 Hazard Avenue) next Wednesday, March 12th at 8:00 AM. Vernon appears to be in the beginning stages of construction next to Home Goods. What is Home Sense, you ask? It's owned by TJX (Marshall's, TJMaxx, Home Goods). They appear to have more selection and we hear they carry higher end brands. DANG. We hope to hit the Grand Opening next week. Hope to see you there!
