WOODLEDGE POOL CLUB OFFERING AMAZING DEAL

This will have you dreaming of summer...which we certainly need right now! If you haven't thought far enough ahead to plan for the best season of the year (summer)...GET ON IT! A membership at Woodledge Pool Club means you have a plan for the kids every damn day. And, doesn't that sound nice right about now? Besides the obvious (a pool), Woodledge has tennis courts, a basketball court, a kiddie pool, swim team, and fun nights for the whole family (Burger Night, Movie Night, Adult Social and more). Right now, they're WAIVING THE BOND and giving first time members the option of joining for just the cost of membership for their first season (TRUE STORY!). So, what are you waiting for people? This is a great deal. Click HERE to see how to get in on the fun.

SARAH VICTOR BEAUTY EXPANDING, MOVING TO NEW SPACE

Exciting things are happening for Sarah Victor Beauty! The beauty and tattoo salon is moving to a brand new building at the corner of Naubuc Avenue and Putnam Boulevard (near Home Depot). And, they will be offering the FIRST blow dry bar in Glastonbury! Along with their move, they will open Studio 476 inside their salon. Clients will be able to get a wash, scalp massage, and blow dry starting at $40 (SCALP MASSAGE = HEAVEN, right?!) Sarah Victor opened her own beauty business 3 years ago on Main Street. Her background is nothing short of impressive. She has worked in the commercial sector as a makeup artist with huge media outlets like WWE and ESPN and has been featured in magazines like Elle for her past work. She offers nearly every kind of beauty treatment you could need (see her website for the full list). We are super excited to see her new space when she opens this May and can't wait to get a blow dry!

WAITER WHEELS TO PROVIDE NON-CONTACT DROP OFF

Times are interesting for sure and there is a lot going on to help people. Waiter Wheels is now offering non-contact drop off for anyone ordering from their favorite restaurant. And...they're waiving a $200 set-up fee for restaurants that are interested in signing up during the months of March and April (FEEL THE LOVE!). If you haven't been on their website, check it out HERE! They have a HUGE variety of offerings from all different restaurants. See below. Great way to support local business!

HOT YOGA WITH A TWIST IN ROCKY HILL

There is an interesting new yoga studio opening in Rocky Hill. Hot 11 Yoga will use infrared lamps during their hot yoga classes to get things nice and toasty. The owner says this helps to make the air a little more breathable because the infrared panels warm objects in the room instead of the air. Kind of neat, right? They are still renovating their space, but expect to open April 1st. There will be a grand opening celebration April 5th. Check out their site HERE.

ODDS & ENDS…

*Monaco Ford is offering clients the option to test drive a car from home. YUP...that's right...they will bring your choice of car to your house for a TEST DRIVE. They also have everything in place to get the deal done virtually. For more info, give them a call: 860.652.3000.

*Glazed Pottery is offering Glazed-To-Go for families looking for a creative outlet. For a set price, it includes your selected pieces, paint, brushes, and instructions. You can order online HERE and pick up curbside. How great?!

*We obviously can't list everything that businesses are doing to help make life easier during this time, but we know many restaurants are offering curb-side pickup or no-contact delivery so you can still enjoy your favorite foods. Go to their individual websites or social media accounts for more information!

* And, we invite you to share things with us that are making life easier for people during this time. Whether it's a tip for parents with kids home, or a business that is providing something unique and interesting to people, please let us know!
