EDGE FITNESS CLEARS LAND BEHIND CHILI’S
The Edge Fitness is moving forward with plans to build a facility behind Chili’s in spite of a pending court appeal. The popular fitness center was approved by the town more than a year ago, but the development has been tied up by court proceedings. There is still an appeal by the owners of 80 Glastonbury Boulevard concerning zoning. This latest development appears to mean The Edge is one step closer to coming to town. We have heard they plan to be open in the next 18 months, so we will keep you posted!
MANCHESTER CHIROPRACTOR MOVES TO GLASTONBURY

Just two years ago, co-workers and financial advisors, Brian Sheehan, Matt Maclean and Alex Gomez started their own wealth management firm. In that time, Rossmore Private Capital, named after the homestead of Brian’s grandfather in Cork, Ireland (we always love the story behind a name!) has had impressive, organic growth. They recently renovated and moved into an ultra-modern, yet inviting space at 628 Hebron Avenue (the five story building near Healthtrax). MOBILE SALON COMES TO YOU
Lauren Mechanic spends her days bringing salon services to her clients’ doorsteps. How great is that? Her mobile salon, Lauren & Co. is a full service salon based out of a recreational vehicle. Yes, that’s right, an RV!! She gutted the inside and turned it into a salon-on-the-go. It has everything, a sink with a hair washing seat, two chairs for cut and color, a waiting area, and some fun beverages too. She keeps things in place with bolts and some Velcro (so smart!). *Baribault Jewelers is selling a custom GHS bracelet for graduates. LOVE THIS!! A portion of the proceeds will go to the Glastonbury Education Foundation. Bracelet pictured.
*Wang Palace will move to their new location within the next couple of months. They are telling customers they plan to be out of their Glastonbury location on Main Street by the end of May or June. They have such a huge following. It will be sad to see them go.
*Killam & Bassette will open their stand on Main Street this Friday! Nothing says summer like the opening of our local farm stands! They will be open every day 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Find more info HERE.
*Numinous Apparel recently launched a mobile boutique. They made their first appearance at River Bend Book Shop last weekend. How cool is that? We heard they have lots of cute clothes, jewelry and gifts for the summer season. Stop into their brick and mortar in the building behind Harry’s Pizza with entrance on Sycamore.
