SET UP YOUR BUSINESS FOR A SAFE RETURN WITH TRANSFER ENTERPRISES

One thing we know for sure is that business will resume, but it will be anything but normal. That's where Transfer Enterprises comes in. The office furniture and services store in Manchester specializes in used and refurbished office products...including traditional or modern styles. They started 25 years ago in 1992 by two veterans of the military. Their senior management team includes one of the owner's sons, AJ Lawton, who remembers riding around in the warehouse on big wheels (LOVE THAT!). And, Jeff Baksa (born and raised in Glastonbury '05) has been with the company since he graduated college. They have a giant warehouse filled with all different types of office furniture. But perhaps, most important right now, are their SANITATION and DISTANCING services. They can steam clean office space and furniture or set up stations with dividers. The have all kinds of things that will make it easier and safer for employees to return to work. Check them out HERE and mention you saw this on The Scoop for a 5% discount on products or services.

RUSH BOWLS COMING TO TOWN

We recently announced on Facebook and Instagram that Rush Bowls will open in space between Dunkin' Donuts and Spa Pointe in the corner plaza at the second rotary. This is the owner's 2nd local location. The other one is in Hartford. They offer all kinds of acai bowls and smoothies. We have heard great things and can't wait to try them!

SHAMPOO ONE SPACE NOW AVAILABLE

After decades serving customers in their space, Shampoo One is permanently closing it's location on the Glastonbury/East Hartford line. Owner, Tina Bartell, is going solo. She decided to downsize and offer her services from Sola Salon Studios in Somerset Square. Her old space is currently available. They are doing big renovations to the exterior of the building with a new entrance being built as we speak. Teach Art to Me has also left their space in this building. She will work out of her home. Both spaces are now available for lease.
