HERE’S THE SCOOP…
We had a chance to check out the new Crystal Ridge Winery on Belltown Road and it was awesome. It’s a gorgeous setting at the top of the hill overlooking farmland and a view that goes on for miles.
We did their Reserve Tasting for $15, which included 1 white and 3 reds. All were great! We ended up buying their Merlot for $37 and enjoyed it in their upstairs room with a view of Hartford.
They also offer different food selections made by The Heirloom Market at Comstock Ferre in Wethersfield. We bought the hummus platter, which included veggies, hummus, fruit, and cheese for $10.
The winery is open Saturday and Sunday ONLY from 12:00-6:00 PM.
