Asana Organic Skin & Beauty is set to OPEN soon at 730 Hebron Avenue in the same plaza as Damato Chiropractic Center of Glastonbury and F45 Training. It's the space on the far right end when you are looking at the plaza. The owner, Tida, was born in Thailand and has a true passion and love for organic beauty and wellness through eastern traditions. MED SPA OPENING GLASTONBURY LOCATION
Blush Med Spa will open a 2nd location at 100 Sycamore Street in Glastonbury. Their original spa started in Enfield and gained quite the following. They were a Top 3 Finalist for Best of Hartford Magazine 2020. It was started by Camille Karalekas who is a nurse practitioner and the medical director of the spa. GLASTONBURY MOM CHANGING LIVES FOR THOSE WITH MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS
When Jennifer Ganley was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis back in 2012, working a full-time job soon became challenging. There were bouts of exhaustion and pain so debilitating that she faced difficult decisions in order to improve her quality of life. After realizing there were few local resources for people coping with the disease, she started her own not-for-profit foundation, AFMS (Advocating for Families with Multiple Sclerosis). We love that every dollar she raises goes directly to patients. She works with the Mandell Center for MS, which refers her patients who need wheel chairs, scooters, walkers, air conditioning units, compression stockings, shower rails or any item that allows them to live a better, safer, and more comfortable life. She can get people what they need literally within an hour of their request. Now that is the true meaning of helping people!
