CLEAN N GREEN LAUNDROMAT HAS TIME SAVING SERVICES...PLUS SISTERS LAUNCH CARD COMPANY

HERE’S THE SCOOP…

CLEAN N GREEN IS CHANGING THE WAY YOU THINK ABOUT LAUNDROMATS

(SPONSORED)

Is it just us or does laundry take up an inordinate amount of time? Well, we have just the place...Clean N Green Laundromat in the Putnam Bridge Shopping Plaza in Glastonbury, is changing the way you might think about laundromats. It's CLEAN, FRIENDLY, SAFE, and ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS. And, they have THE most amazing time-saving services! Watch their video below to see how they are cutting down on laundry time for families, singles, and professionals.

We loved working with Nick from Clean N Green...such a great guy who loves meeting new customers and helping them save time on their laundry! Pop-in, get some laundry done, and tell him we sent you! Behind the scenes pics below.

NEW CARD COMPANY OFFERS SIMPLE DESIGNS AND MESSAGES

Glastonbury-born and raised sisters, Jessica Kissane and Rishelle Notghi had an idea to make greeting cards that were different. Within weeks, they were coming up with sentiments, printing and cutting cards and launching their line at a local church fair. With that, dapple + grey came to life (name origin HERE)! Rishelle is a professional graphic designer and Jessica is a stay-at-home mom (now entrepreneur). The two have created cards with simple messages and bold, beautiful, easy designs. We are kind of obsessed with their 'Things We Say' line with quotes like "Here's the thing..." and "I think it's funny that..." We'll take 10 of each since we use those sayings all the damn time! You can find them online HERE or at the Old Cider Mill (doesn't get any more Glastonbury than that!). See some of their creations below.

WANG PALACE SAYS GOODBYE TO GLASTONBURY

26 years ago, Wang Palace moved into their Glastonbury space offering authentic Chinese food that people loved with every fiber of their being. They became an institution, a landmark if you will. Sadly, they said goodbye last week, closing down their Glastonbury restaurant to prepare for their move to Rocky Hill. When we posted the news on social media, the response was overwhelming. The good news is that they will still offer their same sought after food just a short distance away on the Silas Deane Highway. Visit them when they open in the next two to three weeks.
