CHANGES AT EVERGREEN WALK
Construction is underway to the new space for Old Navy as the retailer prepares to move from its current location. This is to make way for the build out of Whole Foods which will take over the Old Navy and Sakura buildings for its new store in South Windsor. Our friends at The Manchester Scoop report that Old Navy will open in the new space late spring and that Sakura is moving closer to Connecticut Mattress and will add a large patio to their offerings.

Hartford's first food hall is already planning to expand. Parkville Market, in the historic Parkville section of the city, will add multiple event venues, more food offerings and ...ummm yes please...a ROOF DECK! We need more roof decks in our life! Parkville has more than twenty vendors serving food...everything from Jamaican to Mexican and Italian. There is literally something for everyone. Stay tuned as we follow their amazing journey!

Wendy Cusano is a mom of two girls, a Glastonbury High School graduate, lifelong Glastonbury resident, and local business owner. She was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer. Wendy had just opened her own hair salon in East Hartford prior to her diagnosis. Her husband, Brian Cusano, owns and operates the small group training gym, Against the Grain Fitness. The two have become well known for their commitment to fitness and a healthy lifestyle. Sadly, Wendy was forced to close her salon because she is physically unable to work due to her treatment. There are several fundraisers happening in the next few weeks to cover her medical costs. All proceeds from these events will go to the Cusano Family and any donation is greatly appreciated!
