Here are some BEHIND THE SCENES pictures from our video shoot. We had so much fun!

UPDATE ON OLD HITCHCOCK LAND

We recently found out about a land auction for properties off Griswold Street. Three plots were up for auction due to foreclosure. They were the land behind Appalachian Tails (the old Hitchcock Furniture site), an adjacent empty lot, and the old gas station next to Five Guys on Main Street. The auction was set to take place this past Saturday, but came to a halt when the owner filed for bankruptcy. This is one of our most asked about pieces of land! So many opportunities for a cool development, but it looks like it will be tied up for a bit while it gets sorted out. Reference pics below.

EL POLLO GUAPO CONFIRMED FOR OLD GIDEON'S SPACE

El Pollo Guapo is coming to the old Gideon's BBQ space. According to The Hartford Courant, the Mexican food restaurant will open this November. Owners, Roy and Heather Riedl live in Glastonbury and made a name for themselves after starting the food truck, Mercado (it's delish!). Other locations are in Wethersfield and Hartford. We are excited to welcome them to Glastonbury!
