FOXWOODS NEW CASINO
Foxwoods recently held a Grand Opening for their new casino! Pequot Woodlands was formerly a banquet hall that they renovated into a new spot for gambling and entertainment. The new casino includes 24 table games, a High Slot room, and two fun new bars: Truth Searcher (a fun play on the fact that many truths are revealed at bars...we may have revealed a few ourselves!) and drip (gold flow along top of the bar...also a nod to how guests of the casino have cool, fashionable style). Both bars also have connections to the Native American culture. Check out pics of the inside below!

*We are hearing some buzz that the developer of the 5-story affordable housing apartment complex on the corner of Manchester Road and Hebron Avenue will NOT move forward with construction of the building. This is UNCONFIRMED, but we have heard this through multiple, credible sources. We called Hayes Corporation (the developer) for a comment, but they have not returned our call as of yet. So, what does this mean? They could sell the property and the plans to another developer who will move forward with it OR they could sell the property to someone who wants to do something different, but they would have to go through the town approval process. Stay tuned...
