HERE’S THE SCOOP…
JUMP START YOUR WEEKEND WITH NEW MOMS BOOTCAMP
Glastonbury mom, Katy McConville and, new business owner of Gym & Tonick fitness, is excited to introduce Mothers & Movement Bootcamp every Saturday at Riverfront through October 4th. This badass fitness instructor has been on the move pretty much forever since her start in competitive cheerleading to becoming a certified yoga instructor and completing an NPC fitness competition...something that pushed her to new levels of discipline and respect for her body and mind. She recently created the Mothers & Movement Bootcamp after having kids of her own and realizing women need support in reclaiming their strength, energy, and community. Her business name is a nod to strength (GYM) and tonic (TONICK) an elixir for body and soul and her maiden name! Katy has persevered through some serious physical struggles after being diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis at age two. Her doctors said she would never walk correctly. But through years of casting, she gradually straightened her legs and by 8 years old, she was competing as an elite cheerleader and tumbler at national competitions (umm GO GIRL!!!). The experience shaped her life and her passion for helping others overcome obstacles and build strong, active lives. You MUST check out her Saturday bootcamp, REGISTER HERE or learn more about her offerings HERE.
