HERE’S THE SCOOP…
MUST-TRY REFLEXOLOGY ON MAIN STREET
We had a friend reach out about a CT Reflexology...the new spot in the old Village Wool space on Main Street across from the fountain. He said we HAVE to go there and try them...so, of course we did. The owner, Eric, and his mom moved here from New York City not too long ago. Although the space has a super calm and peaceful vibe, it's the massage that will keep you going back. We had two...the foot reflexology massage and a Swedish back massage. BOTH. WERE. INCREDIBLE. We are obsessed with their uber comfy chairs that are soft, cozy, and reclinable. Another highlight was our warming 'panda' eye mask. Do we look a little nutty? YES. Do we feel amazing? Also, YES! The foot massage may have been the best we have ever had. They offer four options (30 to 90 minutes - the longer ones include arm, back, and leg massages). For massage, they have Swedish or deep tissue, single or couples. If you didn't know, foot reflexology can help relieve headaches, asthma, insomnia (Where our 3 AM ladies at?!), high blood pressure, stress, depression, and more. They're OPEN 7 days a week. Call to set up an appointment: 860.328.2408. HIGHLY recommend!
$500 FOR 10 WEEKS OF SPORTS PERFORMANCE SUMMER TRAINING
We can't get over this deal! Kevin Kosis of Weight Room Sports Performance is offering a summer training program that extends 10 weeks, 3 times per week for $500. Your eyes ARE reading this correctly...just $500 to get your athlete in tip top shape for next season or for the start of their college career! Kevin grew up in Manchester and went to East Catholic (he works there today as their track and field strength and conditioning coach). He went on to compete as a D1 Track and Field sprinter at Sacred Heart University. In his 11-year career as a fitness professional, Kevin has built an impressive background and reputation for helping young athletes achieve their goals. Some have even gone on to sign pro contracts and a select few have won Olympic Gold and competed as members of Team USA at World Championships. He has also been responsible for introducing and managing performance training for some of the country's TOP NCAA recruits across multiple sports! He's built long term athletic development programs for sports teams and large-scale sports complexes (most notably the in-house programs for Chelsea Piers Connecticut). We could literally go on and on listing all of his accomplishments, but we think you get the picture - HE IS THE REAL DEAL. On the personal side, Kevin loves to learn about anything he doesn't know about, once went an entire day speaking in in only movie quotes and no one noticed (incredible!), and has a life goal to restore a late 60's Mustang from the ground up by himself. GLASTONBURY STAPLE ALONG MAIN STREET CLOSING FOR GOOD
The Mahogony Shoppe on Main Street is closing their doors. The owner, Debby, is retiring. WHAT. A. RUN! She built and sustained (for more than 40 years) an incredible business that became a shopping tradition for many in town. We remember multiple holidays with the signature Mahogony Shoppe gift wrap and unique treasures. Right now, the entire shop is 50% off. They will close June 30th. Best of luck to her in the next chapter.

DO GOOD SCOOP...
NEW NON-PROFIT, RACER'S FOUNDATION TO RAISE MONEY FOR MENTAL HEALTH
Many years ago, Glastonbury resident, Lane Bruner was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and has since been an advocate for raising awareness and trying to help those who are struggling. His dog, Racer, has had a huge impact on his life and helped him through difficult times. The non-profit is named after him: Racer's Foundation. Right now, Lane is raising funds to establish the non-profit through a GoFundMe page and will hold an event at Hops on the Hill May 30th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Click HERE to learn more.

ODDS & ENDS...
*Sponsored by Moore Wellness Solutions

*We are hearing that a few new restaurants have interest and are potentially close to signing a lease at the Shops at Somerset. The spaces are the old Coldwater Creek and the former Max's. We hope to hear more in the next two weeks and will let you know the SCOOP!
*DID YOU KNOW? The Glastonbury Apple Fest is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year! YES...5-0!!! Say whaaatttt? Man, do we feel OLD. Anywhoo...that's pretty exciting. In honor of turning 50, they are ramping it up and offering some really cool stuff. To start, there will be 50 different local musical acts all weekend long. Click HERE to see the lineup!
*Cotton Hollow Preserve is NOW OPEN for the season with new rules and increased security. The popular outdoor spot has been the topic of concern by many residents and town council members. The town has installed new gates and video surveillance, new signage, and will have a Park Ranger and increased police presence. The gates will also be locked when the area is closed so that cars cannot park there.
