TRANSFER YOUR OLD HOME MOVIES TO DIGITAL WITH OLD HOME MOVIE RESCUE
We know you all have them...the film reels, the VHS tapes, miniDV tapes or maybe even 8mm cassettes! Friends...it's now time to switch those over to digital! Glastonbury mom, Hilory Coderre from Old Home Movie Rescue takes all forms of old home movies and transfers them to computer files so you can watch them again and again for years to come. Hilory started 15 years ago simply making a video montage for her kids. She had several camcorder cassettes she wanted to use and found a piece of equipment to convert them. She then started offering the service to friends and family, word spread, and Old Home Movie Rescue was born. It's not her full-time gig, but it brings her so much joy when clients tell her they got emotional seeing old home movies for the first time in decades. Priceless memories brought to life once again. Hilory has always been fascinated by home movies. It's in her blood...her parents shot 8mm films in the 60's and 70's and her grandfather was a cruise-ship projectionist in the 50's and 60's. You can find her on Facebook or online HERE or call 860.918.1828 to set up an appointment. She is super affordable and reliable.
LOBSTERFEST 2025
A huge THANK YOU from the Glastonbury Rotary Club to the Glastonbury community for this year's turnout at the Lobsterfest (their signature fundraiser). In spite of the downpour just before gates opened, nearly everyone who purchased tickets showed up. They were troopers dealing with lots of mud and puddles! The Rotary is incredibly GRATEFUL for the support. This year's raffle winner went home with $4,500. See you next year!
