HERE’S THE SCOOP…
SAYBROOK HOME DESIGN SERVICES
When Adam Calkins was given the opportunity to lead the new Saybrook Home location in Glastonbury, he jumped at the chance. Although a native of the shoreline, he was excited to learn about a new community. And, he loves helping all people find their dream design when it comes to interior space. Saybrook Home has been in business for 45 years...four and half decades of creating beautiful spaces for homeowners and their families. When they opened their Glastonbury store, they decided to truly focus on design and customization. They have a full-service design center and creative space to help people envision what their room will become and make it happen for them. In just one visit, you can pick out every piece in a room, the fabric, the rug, the accessories, the shades, and lighting. Can you say ONE STOP DESIGN HEAVEN? The entire design operation is led by an expert team of designers (Mary, Bridgette, Shannon, and Adam - All of them are so lovely!). And, guess what...they are there 7 days a week, so no need to fret if you don't have time during the busy work week. Stop in anytime to find something you love. We love EVERYTHING in there, so this is kind of a guarantee. And, hey, when you pop in, tell them we sent you.

PAUL CICCHETTI electrical GROWING, LOOKING FOR NEW TEAM MEMBERS
One of our faves, PAUL CICCHETTI electrical is adding three new positions to their growing operation. They are looking for a full-time office assistant, an electrician, and a project manager. For more info and a description of these positions, you can email info@pcelectrical.com. It was just four years ago that Paul launched his own electrical business providing high-end workmanship and superior customer service. What we love about Paul is his additional knowledge of lighting design. He knows exactly what works in different areas of your home or business. Some of their fall projects include generator installations, home renos, and upgrades to interior and exterior lighting. They service both residential and commercial properties and can handle large and small projects. With the kiddos back to school, September is the perfect time to start checking off your to-do list and prepping for the holiday season. We love their team and their work! For a FREE estimate, call 860.519.9261 or visit pcelectrical.com.

OLD WETHERSFIELD COUNTRY STORE BOUGHT BY 2002 GHS GRAD
A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity presented itself to Margie Bausmith and she decided to go for it. Margie is the new owner of the Old Wethersfield Country Store...a mainstay of this unique community and she could not be more excited! Born and raised in Glastonbury (a 2002 GHS grad - YESSSS!), Margie has always had an affection for Main Street Old Wethersfield (she spent Sundays attending First Church) and knew the time was right for her to take this leap. After some interior upgrades, Margie reopened the store to a bit of fanfare. Lots of loyal customers returned to support her new venture. It's a first for her as she hasn't ever worked in retail until now. But, she has big plans to enhance and expand the offerings so stop by to find out what she has in store. We think her creative side will really shine through here...she's extremely involved with music and arts...plays the piano EVERY day (LOVEEE). The art behind the check out counter was made by her. It's her grandmother's old lace pieces (We're not crying!). Let's give her a big WELCOME!
AMAZON FULFILLMENT CENTER LATEST
We recently popped by the Amazon location on National Drive to find out when they are opening and found out they will open this week! New associates were there training last week and their goal for opening is tomorrow. If you Google "Amazon Glastonbury", a list of their job openings pops up.
