PRIME COMMERCIAL SPACE FOR LEASE OFF ROUTE 2

Calling all business owners! Rocco Gondek and his partner, Jason Kushner of Kushner Development are excited to present this space at 36 Main Street on the Glastonbury/East Hartford line. It's more than 2,800 square feet with a bright, open feel. The building has a great vibe with some fun businesses (including one of our faves: Just Be). It was recently given a facelift with new windows, fresh paint, and updated landscaping...perfect curb appeal. Not to mention it's extremely visible from Route 2 where 80,000 cars pass by per day! We think it's a fab spot for a hair or nail salon or even a medical practice. It's not always easy to find a great landlord, but these two are the real deal who care about their clients. They plan to offer FREE rent and tenant improvement dollars and install a new, dedicated HVAC system. Rocco is a GHS grad and has more than 10 years of experience in commercial real estate. He is a great guy! Jason went to UConn School of Business and has a wealth of knowledge and experience in all things real estate and business. He and Rocco formed Kushner Development together and are actively looking to acquire more properties in the Northeast and Florida. Contact them if you are interested in selling or to schedule a walk-through for 36 Main Street.

HOUSING DEVELOPMENT APPROVED FOR FORMER HORSE FARM

Approval for a 29-lot development at the old horse farm on Bell Street was approved by the town. Stallion Ridge Development includes custom homes ranging from $800,000 to over $1,000,000. We are a bit sad about this idyllic spot being transformed, but it is an ideal location in a truly peaceful setting. See the site plan and some of the potential homes below.

OPENING SOON...

Dairy Queen is expected to open their new Glastonbury location by the end of February. This will be pending town approval! They are currently hiring for all positions. If you or someone you know would like to apply, go to snagajob or talentReef.

There is a new business opening next to Mulberry Too on Hebron Avenue. The Roundabout Convenience & Deli will go into the old liquor store space. Stay tuned for an opening date.

The Simple Greek quietly closed to make way for a new restaurant. Kouzina Meditarranean Eatery will open February 10th according to a Facebook post. We are looking forward to learning more about this new Greek-style restaurant.

HELP MEDSPA1064 GIVE BACK TO PROTECTORS OF ANIMALS

Since 2005, Dr. Michael Janiszewski, (aka Dr. J) and his clinical team at Medspa1064 have been helping people look and feel their best. Located in The Shops at Somerset Square, this family-owned business has grown to more than 18,000 clients with services ranging from skin rejuvenation to body contouring.

They are also deeply involved in giving back to the community. Starting today, through the entire month of February, they are collecting clean and gently used linens for Protectors of Animals. A Medspa1064 client is a volunteer at the non-profit and shared the need for these items to bathe the animals and give them a comfortable place to sleep. When you donate, you will receive 10% off your next product purchase at Medspa1064! It's a win-win. Drop donations at their location: 140 Glastonbury Boulevard or call to schedule a curbside pickup: 860.657.1064.
