TIGER BELLY NOODLE BAR UPDATE
QUESTION OF THE WEEK: When is Tiger Belly Noodle Bar opening in Somerset? (They are going into old OGGI space next to Starbucks) Use your patience...it's going to be a bit (womp, womp, wooomp)! We recently reached out to them and they said they don't have an exact date, but it will be 2026. They are awaiting approvals, which can be a painfully slow process (in our opinion). We will keep you updated, PROMISE!
PANERA
Panera is TEMPORARILY CLOSED for renovations. We have heard it will be about 2-3 weeks before reopening, but these things always take longer than we expect, so STAY PATIENT people! Excited to see their new look!
NOODLES & CO.
Initially we reported that Noodles & Co was temporarily closed, but we have learned that they will NOT REOPEN and the space is up for lease. There is quite a bit of interest so far, but we don't news yet. What do you think should go there?
BERTUCCI'S
As you all know already, the Glastonbury Bertucci's CLOSED recently, and the space is now UP FOR LEASE. We can tell you that the landlords are a great family and treat their tenants well. This is a very large space, but it's such a great location and we know it will be successful with the right tenant. We would love to see PRESSED Cafe (out of Boston) go there or in the Noodles space. They offer pretty much everything and would be a great addition. Give us some other ideas to pass along.
KATZ HARDWARE'S NEXT GENERATION
A local favorite since 1920 will stay in the family! Katz Hardware recently announced that Calvin Krieger, owners, Bob and Shannon's son, has joined them full time after graduating from Bryant University's business program. He is bringing new ideas, fresh energy, and a deep respect for the values that have kept Katz running for five generations. We love them and are so excited about this!
