REGISTRATION OPEN FOR ELITE SOCCER PROGRAM AT OAKWOOD


Coerver East Soccer now has spots open for their exclusive winter programs. Registration is NOW OPEN for their F.O.G. program where players learn foot skills and techniques to improve their one-on-one game. There will be 10 sessions for U7-U13 players at Oakwood Indoor Sports Center. Session One is November through January and Session Two is January through March. BROWN BUTTER CREATIONS OPENING A BRICK AND MORTAR


There is a new bakery opening in the One Stop Plaza next to Pick N' Mix. Brown Butter Creations...currently an online shop...has gutted and renovated the space and will open soon! They offer custom cakes and cookies, donuts, and get this...homemade pop tarts. YES PLEASE! Check out some of their "creations" HERE. Stay posted for an opening date.


EYELASH EXTENSION PLACE GLEN LOCHEN


There is a new eyelash extension boutique opening in Glen Lochen. It will be located next to Sensations Day Spa in the old tax prep business. They gutted the space and are currently renovating. More info coming soon...


FLOAT YOUR WORRIES AWAY AT ELIANA SPA


Float tanks were recently installed at Eliana Spa on New London Turnpike (they are still renovating the space). If you don't know about this uhhhhmazing treatment, listen up! These are essentially extra large tubs filled with water and epsom salt to make you float. They are said to be beneficial for those with anxiety, depression, arthritis, PTSD, and more! FUN FACT: If you sleep for one hour in a tank, it's equivalent to four hours of sleep. Parents everywhere rejoice and get there! They will officially be OPEN for floats this November. *The Coder School Glastonbury is offering new Saturday Workshops for kids who are interested in learning to code. Coding is the language of computers and is how apps, websites, and video games are made. There are some really cool options for kids right now.


Here is their schedule:


October 23rd: Roblox 1:00 to 4:00 PM

October 30th: Scratch (Halloween game) 1:00 to 4:00 PM

November 6th: Minecraft 1:00 to 4:00 PM

November 13th: Nintendo Switch 1:00 to 4:00 PM

November 20th: 3D Modeling 1:00 to 4:00 PM
