THERAP(E) BY TWO ERICAS WITH SIMILAR METHODS FOR FINDING HAPPINESS
We are loving the two Ericas who run the therap(e) group by Erica & Erica in Glastonbury. They have a fresh, realistic perspective on therap(e). Let's start with their back story...they met in grad school ten years ago and later realized their first names were not the only thing they have in common...they share a similar vision for therapy that includes collaboration with clients to help them better understand themselves and grow in a non-judgmental way.
ERICA THRALL: Erica T lives in Glastonbury with her family including one son and a soon to be added PUPPY (get ready, Erica!). She has so many interesting parts to her, it's hard to choose, but here are a few: She is previous contributor to Huffington Post and Scary Mommy and used to be a LIVE STORYTELLER. FUN FACT(S): She and her mom went to France and accidentally chose a bike tour on the hills of the Tour de France (oopsy).....AND...she is writing a book! Dang girl!
Erica Rodriguez: Erica R lives in West Hartford with her husband and Australian Shepard, Doogan. They love being outdoors, spending time with their big close-knit families, and listening to music. Erica is Puerto Rican, Italian and Irish. This multi-cultural background is a big part of who she is and something for which she is grateful! FUN FACT: She had turn-tables in her basement growing up which led to gatherings with dancing and sing-alongs! LOVEEEEE...

REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR NEW JIU JITSU SUMMER CAMP!
One of our faves...Jay Rivera of F.I.T.E. Fit, recently added Summer Camp to his list of offerings at his new Jiu Jitsu studio. The camp will run August 7th to 11th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for kids ages 6 to 12 years old. The cost is just $250 for the week, but the kiddos will gain priceless skills, strength, and most importantly confidence. To register, email Jay at joinfitefit@gmail.com or call 860.463.6327. His new space beneath Subway at 2217 New London Turnpike is pretty awesome. MARIELLA CREATIONS IN ROCKY HILL SOLD TO NEW OWNERS
It's a new beginning for a longtime favorite in Rocky Hill. Mariella Creations has been sold to Sarah Pskowski. Sarah and her mom are employees of Mariella's. Her mom, Nella, has worked there for 24 years! The sale comes on the heels of longtime owner, Mariella's, retirement. Although Mariella will be staying on part time to help with the transition. Sarah began working there when she was 16 years old eventually moving up to Bridesmaid Department Manager. Later, after graduating from college, Sarah was torn between staying at Mariella's or pursuing other opportunities. She and her family discussed the idea of whether she should buy the business and VOILA...9 years later...here she is. WHAT. A. STORY! Now 25 and engaged to her fiance, Jason, Sarah is getting married in October 2024 and plans to keep Mariella Creations exactly the same. Her mom, Nella, will continue working there and her Dad has come onboard behind the scenes. A family affair! LOVE IT and THEM.
